BookJane Adds to its Board and Doubles its Executive Leadership Team

TORONTO, CANADA, August 17, 2020  -- BookJane Inc. (BookJane) is experiencing unprecedented growth year-over-year, adding members both to its board as well as its leadership team. BookJane enters a continued period of growth for its team as it works with clients to solve the caregiver shortage affecting health care facilities across North America.

Expanding our leadership team is a tremendous milestone and we are excited to welcome such talented experts in their respective functions to BookJane, said Curtis Khan, CEO and Founder, BookJane. As the pandemic continues, we are proud to provide a solution that digitally streamlines shift recruitment and fulfilment for health care facilities, so they can provide the best client care. The diverse roster of leaders joining our team will help BookJane mobilize across North America and increase our impact during a time when it's needed most by the health care sector.

Doug MacLatchy Joins the Board of Directors

Drawing on more than 30 years of leadership experience in senior living, finance, and corporate real estate, Doug MacLatchy leads the executive team as CEO of Amica Senior Lifestyles and joins the BookJane Board of Directors. Under Doug's stewardship, Amica has grown from a start-up to a highly valued senior living brand with 31 residences and 2,950 employees.

Doug began his mission to make senior living better for seniors when he founded BayBridge Senior Living in 2010. After acquiring Amica Mature Lifestyles in 2015, he amalgamated the two companies to form Amica Senior Lifestyles. In doing so, Doug changed the retirement business model to focus on enriching seniors lives by developing purpose-built residences providing excellent hospitality, amenities, and personalized care that adapts to residents evolving needs. Thanks to industry-leading occupancy success and ongoing growth in opening multiple new locations per year, Amica is Canada's leading owner, operator, and developer of senior lifestyle residences.

Doug's vision for enriching the lives of seniors by creating a premium, personalized experience with discerning care sets the standard for all new Amica builds and will inform his role on BookJane's Board of Directors.

BookJane Adds Three New Hires to the Executive Leadership Team

BookJane's new executive hires include Raul Rupsingh, Chief Technology Officer; Karin Campbell, Vice President of Marketing; and James Manson, Vice President of Product.

This team brings a wealth of experience in health, start-ups, and SaaS, said Curtis Khan, and will be fundamental in defining BookJane's strategic goals and fostering company culture throughout 2020 and beyond.
